Previously guitarist with Irish band "Music For Deaf" (not the later US band of the same name), participant in "Allotropes" experimental collective (not the current UK band of the same name), synth/guitar with "Paradise Lost". MFD, Control Zone and the Allotropes all have entries (albeit variably accurate) in the Irish Punk and New Wave Directory. It was a nice surprise to find that they said "MFD were reputedly the best band in the scene by far".
Colin holds a Diploma in Contemporary Music from Unitec (Auckland).Colin's current interests include experimental music (both composed and improvised), song writing and performance, and composition for conventional solo instruments and ensembles. He is a regular participant in the Auckland Inmprov group "Vitamin S"
He is one half of the duo "Toy Triptech" , with Rohan Evans, and performs on alto sax with Jeff Henderson's ensemble "Superstars of Westlynn".
